Although largely replaced by the green screen process, process photography - or "back projection" as it was also called - was the long established way of providing a moving background in interior car scenes in film and TV.

However, all has not been lost to the digital domain. We've been providing rear projection for motion picture production for over 18 years - primarily on films with large control room scenes like NASA's Mission Control.
